My renewed interest in landscape began with a super moon event. It was a spectacular evening at the studio; the night sky was clear over the city and the street where my studio is situated. It was breathtaking!

I had already been working on a series of forest nightscapes for several months, and when I saw the beauty of the city sky, I couldn’t resist incorporating the night sky into my paintings of forests. The colours were spectacular and were even better in real life. They were intense and visually stunning.

Each painting I create is unique. There are no two alike. Each painting and drawing tells a story like this artwork and is part of a larger, more complex series of paintings and drawings.

This painting is done in oils on Masonite. It is signed.
